Voting is the fundamental act of self-governance we as Americans wield as citizens of our representative, constitutional, democratic republic. To cast their vote in good conscience, voters must be knowledgeable on the candidates and issues placed before them on the ballot. Campton Forward provides links to information on candidates for public office, and on propositions that will appear on Campton’s ballot.

Shall the Pemi-Baker School District vote to raise and appropriate as an operating budget, not including appropriates by special warrant articles and other appropriations voted separately, the amounts set forth on the budget posted with the warrant or as amended by vote of the first session for the purposes set forth herein, totaling Seventeen Million Three Hundred Sixty-Six Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-Three Dollars ($17,366,693.00)
Should this article be defeated, the default budget shall be Sixteen Million Six Hundred Twenty-Two Thousand Nine Dollars ($16,622,009.00), which is the same as last year, with certain adjustments required by previous action of the Pemi-Baker Regional School Board or by law or the governing body may hold one special meeting, in accordance with RSA 40:13, X and XVI, to take up the issue of a revised operating budget only.
